What is the Rock oyster festival all about?
“A voyage of culinary discovery and musical mischief, Rock Oyster (25th-28th July 2024) is an award nominated 4-day Festival and camping holiday located on the banks of the Camel Estuary on the Cornish Coast.
A family friendly line-up of incredible music from the UK’s biggest artists and mouth-watering food from Michelin-starred chefs to creative food experiences, as well as an extensive adventure and wellbeing programme and plenty of family entertainment for everyone! In 2023 the Festival also introduced the Deep Dive, a new arena for talks spanning across food, the environment and wellbeing.” - Rock Oyster festival.
Why did Luma eyewear choose Rock Oyster?
We had seen Rock Oyster Festival growing for the past few years and loved the relaxed, fun-filled, family vibe. Many of us have enjoyed local festivals with our children and this seemed the perfect fit for our brand. The focus on well-being and healthy food really hooked us in! Also, the chance to see Bombay Bicycle Club at the end of a busy working day sounded great!
Who did we think were great?
The Luma team made a lot of new friends and caught up with many old trader buddies. Our good friend Freddie from Beach Bound Co was pitched up right next to us which was awesome! We met the guys from Tom’s Trunks and That is The Shirt Club, both really entertaining teams. Plus, being a local event, it was great to see lots of our friends and we meet so many amazing new customers!
Insider tips for next year:
Luma eyewear will be back next year for sure, it was fun and beautiful festival, with amazing views over the estuary. There was an amazing coffee bar on the way in, we can't remember the name, but it comes highly recommended from us, as does the food!
What did we enjoy the most?
The music, the people, the food, the weather! It was a great festival with a really joyful and easy-going feel! The Luma team can't wait to return.
