Where do you explore the most?

I grew up just outside the Peak District in Staffordshire, so adventure’s always been on the doorstep. These days, I spend most of my time hiking the fells of the Lake District – nothing beats a day high up on a mountain. I’m also a big fan of the coast and love swapping boots for bare feet whenever I get the chance, especially down in North Devon. If there’s a trail to follow or water to dive into, count me in.

What is your favourite outdoor activity?

Hiking’s my go-to – there’s nothing like getting up high and looking back at where you’ve come from. But I’ve recently got hooked on wake surfing. Who doesn’t love the feeling of an endless wave behind the boat? It’s the perfect mix of chill and adrenaline.

What inspires you to protect the environment?

It’s simple really – I want wild places to stay wild. There’s something magic about stumbling across a quiet spot and feeling like you’re the only one who knows about it. If we don’t look after these places, they stop being special. So I try to tread lightly and do my bit to keep the adventure going.
